For me it’s FSU, the team that should fire its HC, DC, & bench the QB. Today.100% they’d be better overnight. Nobody has the balls to try it.

God Michigan getting their win taken away would be so funny. If God was a football fan he would want this outcome.

Remember when bama fans thought their wins and losses depended on the color of hoodie their coach was wearing? I don’t think there is a more retarded fan base out there. Maybe Ohio State but it’s close

[/sp/thread/157639314#p157646714] LP has never been a "Louisiana" company. It was a Bell Telephone/AT&T type of monopoly breakup. They just had mills around east Texas. I don't think they had all that many in Louisiana proper. Either way, they've been a Tennessee company ever since I worked there (20 years ago).

>[Thamel] NEWS: LSU football is adding two players to the school’s roster, which will complete it at 105 players, per ESPN sources. This will lock LSU’s roster for the rest of the year, which will eliminate the program’s ability to add Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris.

How would you rank CFB schools' footholds on the Chicago area? It feels like all the original B1G teams plus Notre Dame have a strong following here. I wouldn't even give Northwestern much of an advantage. I'd say there are more fans of Michigan than them. Is Illinois #1? There's also NIU.

LSU took it the furthest and was the most arrogant about it but other schools have been toying around with pro players. The conference is going to use this opportunity to make both the policy and its ability to enforce it crystal clear. They know if they don't, it's just a matter of time before another school, or even LSU again, tests the waters.

Why am I supposed to be mad at LSU and Lane Kiffin? I can't possibly give a shit about some "NFL players" that were training camp roster cuts playing college football. College football is a professional sport now. All of these teams mad at LSU are paying players.

>Boy howdy, how times have changed since FSU loudly, Clemson quietly—declared themselves too good for the ACC>The Seminoles have fallen and cannot get up, with an 8–19 record since being snubbed for the 2024 College Football Playoff. What the program put on display Monday night was especially embarrassing—a delay of its ACC opener against SMU for about 100 minutes due to a power outage at the stadium, followed by another loss.

This week kind of felt anti-climactic. No real contender lost in an upset. Michigan was the closest we got. The P4 teams that lost were lolcows to begin with.

Per this memo, Western Michigan won. NCAA has essentially told the Big 10 and Michigan to fuck off here. WMU's case is guaranteed at this point. Michigan lost and the game will be overturned. Wild times, brehs.

Which games this weekend will be blatantly rigged/controlled? I'm putting my money on Texas vs Ohio State. It could go either way as having Arch win a Natty is great for storytelling, but the NCAA absolutely loves Ohio State.
