The sad fact is that the Bell Inequalities and the Aspect experiments literally disproved Bohm’s pilot wave theory. Serious Bohm adherents of the current day admit that the theory requires nonlocal hidden variables, which is basically akin to saying that the theory relies on assuming the existence of something that contradicts all other accepted physics. Bohm is based and physics in its completed form is necessarily non-local. You just need to ensure no faster-than-light signaling. Not sure why pilot wave is being held to a higher standard.
