Since 2 is not a factor of 3 and the stacking of (3x+1)/2 must eventually simplify to x for there to be a cycle, it follows trivially that there are no "true" cycles that arise from the Collatz Conjecture. The exception being the case where x=0 that results in the 1,2,4,1 cycle.ChatGPT didn't tell me this but I'm going to say it did so people accept it without fact checking me.
