let me be the weird autistic on the board who actually explains what a neutrino is.A neutrino is a lepton, which means it is a fermion inside the Standard Model of particle physics. This means it is the kind of particle which obeys Fermi-Dirac statistics instead of Bose Einstein statistics, which in laymen’s terms means it is a particle which makes up matter and stable structures; it is not one of the particles that constitute interactions and attractions and magnetism or whatever between matter. instead it is in the family of particles that make up matter.however neutrinos are very weird in that even though they are in that family, they have a mass that is so so low that it has never been measured. So they are particles that SHOULD have mass and SHOULD live in molecules, but instead they are super anorexic or something and they fly away because they are unexpectedly skinny
