Obviously. It has to be. Imagine if you had to analytically justify all the instincts and "common sense" intuitions you utilize every waking moment to function in the world, instead of taking their utility for granted. Think about the sheer number of factors involved in every heuristic you intuitively apply, how they have to be weighed carefully for it to be generally useful in life, which makes them seem sub-optimal in many specific cases.Dimwits don't reflect on what drives them at all. Midwits reflect only as far as current intellectual fashion calls for it, selectively dismissing the "irrational" behaviors their spiritual leaders single out and calling it "critical thinking". It takes a top wit to start unraveling the reasons behind human behavior, and a good degree of understanding to rid yourself of the hubris of wanting to interfere with it.
