So this is what we're doing in mathematics now? We're copying traditional functions and change them a bit so that we can claim it's a new function so we can name it after ourselves?
The Bessel function is literally just a sine with the first peak a little higher than usual. And not happy with that, they invented an infinite amount of Bessel functions, each one of them looks almost the same as the other ones, but they're technically different because one parameter is slightly different than the rest.

No, they didn't. Inventions require humans to invent them. Humans are bound to physical reality. They can't invent infinite things. Infinity doesn't exist.
