I think of 'vintage' as no longer manufactured or in common use and having been replaced by something modern, to 100 years old. 'Antique' is 100+ years old. 'Ancient' is dug up. So 'retro' imagery is harder to find. Think Lindsey Lohan posing like Marilyn Monroe.
pre-2000 Playboy, Hustler, Penthouse, etc.
