If love:
1. is something that can be turned on and off, "I loved him when we met but now i dont".
2. is something that switches from person to person, love man -> separate -> love new man -> separate -> love new man
Then how is it not just a more drawn out version of lust?
If a modern woman says the loves me, why should i give a shit? what meaning does that have for me when i know she can just switch to loving someone else in month?
This is how most normies and lots of people on here see relationships. It's all a temporary, casual thing. Loyalty doesn't matter at all. How can you stand it? Are you all in a casual lust based relationship and don't care?

it's not that deep op
lust = physical attraction and desire for sex
love = can be the above, but also desire to spend time with, emotional investment in life outcomes, willingness to tolerate hardship
for a lot of people if they really love someone, they don't even have to find them attractive to date

Most people are retarded, it's best not to occupy too much of your time thinking about them.

you see anon, these days you need at least 3-5 years of casual fucking and dating to make sure you are both sexually and personally compatible. if you pass that rite, then it's another 3-5 years of living together, sharing expenses, and making sure you're the paypig she hoped for. then, and only then, after spending 10+ years together, you might be seem worthy to be married. but forget a prenup, shes not going to want you if you start talking about your own money and assets and protecting those, you just have to plow forward because wow a woman actually wants to keep having sex with you and maybe wants to have a baby with you if she pauses her pill by some miracle. but you're not out of the woods yet, you have to keep up your income and job, raise your kids, all while
making sure she is happy, and then there's still about a 50/50 chance she'll stop caring about you, take the kids because they came out of her, and in the divorce proceedings take half your assets while also making you liable to pay her a percentage of your income every month for the rest of your miserable life. so, I just say all that to say, love is worth it. its the universal human experience. why wouldn't you want that?

People don't know anything and just say a bunch of stuff.
You shouldn't:1. Think everyone knows better than you
2. Take advice word for word
3. Trust anyoneMy tombstone:"Everything is hard and everyone is stupid"

I have never been okay with letting go of anyone. I've always been the one gets pushed away. I love everyone who has ever cared for me even if they don't anymore.
