Has anyone else cut contact with your parents because they are boring and have nothing in common with you? I haven't talked to my mother in five years because she just is that boring. What would a 25yo male have to talk to with a 63 year old foid?

I half-listen to my mom bc she mostly just talks about random shit that happened during her day, but I try to lock-in when she starts talking about ancient family lore.
I wish the whole family still got together. I haven't seen a cousin in years and I have a hundred of them.

Yeah, with my mom, kinda. We're just strangers who have nothing in common, and when we met it was forced and awkward. I think she's also stupid, unpleasant and a bad person, and I dislike her, but that we can't talk about anything and can't relate to each other is why we keep apart.
