There's something so fucking funny about Yuya having to fight the BROTHERS while tagging with professional dead weight and career jobber Honma, all because Umino wanted to kill a Young Lion in the undercard.
Is it weird I'm excited to see Go in AJPW? I think he'll have more use there than NOAH at this point plus Go is the only person who knows how to keep Nakajima in line if AJPW decides to give Nakajima another shot.
It's awesome to see Wolf in the ring, and the reactions are great, but I can't help but feel that this buries Boltin a little bit.
"You couldn't take out these guys, but here's a guy with your same build and style who can!"
I don't really get why Boltin couldn't win the match, get beat down after and have Wolf break the brawl up and challenge EVIL then. Doesn't feel like his debut needs a belt on the line.
That's all for today! Tomorrow you'll get the two final matches from this GLEAT show, as well as NOAH Wrestle Odyssey, AJPW's recent tour and even more! Thank you all for hanging out tonight. I'm handing the thread over to the Eurobros now, and I'll see you all tomorrow. Goodnight, bros.
Can you do the finish of this match? Superkick to the back, followed by a Superkick to the chin and the pin?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkzmyx3trWY
This sell worried me a little bit, it's one of those that looks really impactful but then it goes on that little bit too long and you start feeling like something's wrong.
While I am really happy Lindaman's champ again, this match felt really bittersweet. Sure, Lindaman won, but for a dream match between two wrestlers who were both in my active top five just two years ago it really underdelivered, and then the post-match angle with CIMA was just insult to injury. I'm hopeful for both the Lindaman reign and the SUWAMA vs. Nakajima feud coming off this, maybe they can bring me back around.
I genuinely popped out of my seat when he returned. The random English is endearing and hilarious. I'm so fucking happy to have him back and I cannot wait for him to become champ.
HAVOC grew on me a little after showing they could (somewhat) hang in a title match without Suzuki as an opponent. They seem genuinely excited to be in Japan which is cute.
