The British Army recently cancelled a major exercise for "budget reasons". Is the real reason because the UK military has been issued secret warning orders to brace for civil unrest? Is it the same reason the Royal Navy "failed" to send any ships to the straits of hormuz. Not because they "couldnt" but because they wouldnt? Is it the same reason they are tied up alongside at Portsmouth watching the dingis come across the channel? All their assets are being held in reserve. Ask any US, Australian, Canadian or NZ soldier how much they have interacted with a British soldier in the last 12 months on exercise. The answer is nothing because they have pulled out of all their overseas exercise commitments.
