one time my landlord fucked me over for my deposit ($350, this was in 1991) so I invited everybody over from a gig, and we brought the toilet out into the living room and had a fire in in, and smashed the fuck out of the walls and ceiling, pulled all the wires out and most of the pvc, unfortunately the water was off so I couldn't flood the place like I had wanted to and before I left I hucked a bunch of chicken thighs into the vents for good measure I miss the days of being able to exist purely on cash. Wrecking that place cost me exactly $350.

I stopped being a landlord because I realised that you dont make any money from rent. If you are LUCKY you will have some money after tax to meet the costs of maintaining the property. The money is in capital appreciation. As in you only get paid when you eventually sell the property. Since I had the property fully paid off there was no reason to wait. I sold. One less rental. All according to government plan it seems. You need to rent from new apartments built and owned by corporations.I can take the money from the sale and invest in much better things. Gold, s and p 500, pension, pay down high interest debt etc etc. Now I dont have to do any work for my money. No more unblocking toilets, other forms of plumbing, painting, replacing broken furniture and repairing things. Scrubbing the filth left behind by these disgusting animals.Tenants are filthy creatures. They dont clean and they dont know how to use toilets.
