Apparently, its becoming common for people to not know how cameras and light work. Why aren't we seeing displayport alt mode on cameras to replace the HDMI out (which is a standard that also requires royalties, unlike DP). Everyone complains about micro/mini HDMI on cameras, this problem is also solved by using the USB-C port that is already on the camera.A single USB-C (that you already owned) to do both display out and charge the camera.Why is HDMI still even around on cameras? should I get a Nikkor DX 35mm F1.8 for my 24mp APS-C dslr or buy a Lumix g3 and 7artisans 25mm F1.8 for the same price combined I don't want overly blurry background but want decent light performance for a street camera since for gives DOF m43 will give a bit over 1 stop of light more than aps-c and 2 stops over ff, and wide open I will have f3.6 equivalent, is it worth it? or would having 1 more stop of light be better for the cost of reduced dof? low light ISO performance is pretty much 1 stop apart in this setup. but DSLR and the lens are significantly larger and heavier
