>Who taught you the most about photography and what's the most memorable thing they said?He was an enthusiast of photography, however, we never talked about it or any serious topic since he died when I was 11yo and he used to live a bit far away from me. I dunno if there is some genetic component or just a subconscious decision but also I share a lot of personality traits from him and other pastimes like reading. I learned some stuff from all the magazines and books he had about photography that I have discovered from his stuff.
Unfortunately I can't remember anything memorable.

>Who taught you the most about photography and what's the most memorable thing they said? Before I buy my first camera, I saw a couple of videos from the YouTube channel “35milimetros”, from Ronaldo Nene. He talked in such a enthusiastic way about photography that got me into buying my first camera.Although I can’t remember an exactly quote from him

I can't actually identify any photography teacher who's had a significant part to play in the development of my photography skills, such as they are. I've mostly learned by trial and error, testing everything out on my own. Still, I owe a lot to the internet in general: forums, discussion boards, YouTube and Wikipedia, etc., archive.org, etc., etc.As for the most memorable thing I've ever heard, it was from a substitute teacher for my photography class at tertiary school: "you won't take a good photo until you've taken ten thousand photos." It didn't matter if it was true or not, I was still young and impressionable enough to take it seriously and it got me out taking photos.

My high school photography teacher, he was a boomer.
We were shooting film SLR in photography class and we also developed the film. It was fun. The most memorable thing he said was how he enjoyed the morphine during his recent hospital visit. I'll never forget his smile when the told the whole class.

>Who taught you the most about photography and what's the most memorable thing they said?
No one's taught me much of anything about photography, I had to learn it all for myself. I don't say this as a point of pride however, as it is very lonely and frustrating sometimes.
