Does anyone have good advice on how to get rid of hornets around the garden? I discovered (painfully) a nest of bald faced hornets in a bush right next to my garden gate. They attacked me when I was pruning, stinging me repeatedly. To make matters worse, there is also a ground hornet nest nearby that is active.
I garden organically--but frankly, the poisons don't work all that well (have used them in the past). I set out multiple bait traps containing apple juice, boric acid, apple cider vinegar (to repel good bees). It seems to be helping--the hornets take it back to their nest and feed it to the queen and larvae. But it is a slow process. Has anyone tried other techniques to get rid of them? They have caused me to avoid going into one whole section of my yard.

Foaming wasp & hornet spray at night when theyre all at the nest.
If you have trouble with ground wasps just pour some gas in the hole and put a brick over it
