>boomer coworkers: you need to get outside some more man, see the other side of life!
>other side of life: this but filled with pajeets, drug addicts, and geriatrics
>either too old or young for any sort of co-existence with nightlife
How does one touch grass without touching the trigger of a gun to their head if they live in a situation like this?

Change your situation. Midwest/flat anywhere with no/little public land is antithetical to the wellbeing of literally anyone with /out/ inclinations. Save up a few tanks of gas money and an emergency fund, pack a bag, find somewhere new. It's basically indentured servitude but working at a ski resort/any tourist-heavy place can provide lodging and you have some days off to go exploring.

Either move to a nicer location or spend as much time in nature as you can on weekends, vacation days, and holidays. Just because you live in a hellscape doesn't mean you have to spend every waking hour there.
Also have a backup leisure/entertainment plan for when you're stuck in the suburbs. Working out at home, planning trips, watching nature documentaries. Even an immersive video game can scratch the itch until the next weekend.

You guys ever wonder if maybe retarded people are just incapable of grasping the concept of travel? You see a lot of posts like this pop up from time to time where it seems the OP has genuinely never considered the possibility of just going somewhere else.
