Why didn't they build out of this stone? So many incredible historical structures up there were enormous piles of finely carved and painted wood, and thus burned or decayed into nothing. Meanwhile the rest of europe is full of stone structures that've endured the test of time, if not entirely whole then at least present.

Norway has amazing waterfalls, fjords and forests and you choose to explore...that garbage terrain lol. Utter hellscape-looking place with terrible footing that's an ankle injury waiting to happen
