Good way to identify tree species in my area(northern VA) for people that cant read books? I bought the Audubon field guide for north eastern trees but it doesnt help me at all. Theres like 500 trees or something in that book idek where to start or really how to use it, i think books just aren't for me
Whats the next best way to identify and retain the info i learn?

Look at leaves. Easiest way. Just take a picture of a tree, match its leaves to a picture in a guide book. (Try to get full color ones.)
