Why are there nice places just 1 km away from nearest villages and a few km away from the nearest city where you barely ever see a human being? Can't people go out if there's no national park?
And for some reason, despite almost complete absence of people, there's always more or less garbage thrown here and there.

Because the national parks contain:
a) Typically the most beautiful spots
b) Easily accessible spots
And most people are:
a) Not psychopaths
b) Want to enjoy nature WITH others around them
c) Just want a nice time out
d) Want to see nice things that don't take time to hike into or drive down sketchy unmarked roads

People larp all the time here about how you need to drive six hours into the middle of nowhere to get true /out/ meanwhile there are suburban swamps and forests that haven't had a soul in them for decades
