Anybody full-time /out/? I'm sick of working my ass off and would rather do something part time remote and live the camping life. Is it viable? I hear some van lifers love it and some regret it and go back to normie rentoid life.

No, but basically my grandpa died and now I hike for 1.5-2 weeks then rest for 2 weeks, good luck to you if you are physically fit enough to do longer, but usually after a week of hiking im too sore and need to go home gradually.
Resting is important to some degree, regardless of your youth or fitness.

What do spastics think why humanity came up with civilization and advancements? The driving force has always been laziness and comfort. Never before has life been this easy and this comfortable. You can not have an easier life than in modern, western society.
What do spastics think why people who, in the third world, still living under those conditions, work so much and hard?
It is because they have to and because they have a dream: Getting out of there.
Of those still living in a cabin innawoods or a dugout the vast majority wants nothing more but modern dwellings and an easy job that pays money. Only very few are contempt or even prefer it, just like only very few westoids would really want to trade their situation for the dugout.
But you do you. Maybe you're the one in thousand exceptional hermit. Have fun with food insecurity, disease, exposure and what not.

after this work season i'm gonna move to my car full time and do this. just gonna snowbird and west coast or arizona with the boomers in that town between the border with california.
only way i can save up for something and not drain my soul.
i'll still look for winter work as usual but its often serving ski snobs

Not yet, but within the month I shall be. Live has become so evil in (((capitalist))) states that I would honestly rather starve than support this evil beast. God speed to all who are alive and awake and will live outside, and may God have pity on anybody caught in a house in the upcoming months.

You dont have to ""break yourself out"" of society to enjoy yourself man. Working is just a means to get money so you can have somewhere to live and then spend the rest of it on whatever the fuck you want. I personally get one or two weekends of hiking in per month and fish on evenings in the middle of the week when i feel like going outdoors. During vacation i do longer 3-4 days or up to a week of nature time. It scratches my outdoor itch, you get tired of being fucking sweaty/cold/wet/tired after a few days anyway and start missing da bed. Get out of your mind cage and you will start appreciating your existence a bit more :)

Any career that can be done remote makes me miserable. I have to work on physical things and that means having a permanent shop. In theory I could have my own solo business and live in the middle of nowhere if I wanted if I could come up with a few hundred grand for startup money, though, and I hope to do so someday.

it should be easily possible in a car camp but a backpack taking a whole laptop? and how would you even power it
