Where did I take this picture today, are you able to get the exact location?
It shouldnt be to hard. Post orginal pictures of your recent outings that you took and if you did not go on any recent outings, think about why you keep making excuses instead of just going out even if only for a couple of hours on a small hike.
When coming back to this board it feels like 80% is just larpers. There are almost no original pictures taken anymore and 50% is gear threads. lets try to change that and post real pictures that you took.

today i led an expedition to my suburban backyard, hiking a couple hundred feet through grassy terrain, with a total elevation gain of an inch or two above sea level. it was pretty intense, and i'm glad i was able to make the trek back to the house afterward. thankfully, i packed a tarp so i didn't die of heat stroke out there.

I'm starting to prefer lower mountains instead of high peaks. Much less traffic and usually more scenic.

It's the middle of August, and everything out is as dry as a camel's pu**y. We have warm summer days, and the nights are comfy, too. I love wandering old farm roads and relaxing in meadows with beautiful views. Sunsets feel like honey on the lips. It's as if the sun is saying, "See you tomorrow," to assure you that you'll see the sun the next day. A hope. The world is beautiful. I have a place to sleep, plenty of food, and some money. I have a few friends and have been with four women in my life. But I don't want to be here. This isn't for me.Sometimes, after years of growing, the tree completely dries out. People say it's still a tree, but in reality, it's no longer there. It's just another star in the night sky.

Climbed crestone needle, peak, and Humboldt Sunday. 9100' gain, 18 miles. Most fun hike I've done in CO so far.

Took a shot at the presidential traverse on labor day. The wind was pretty wicked, and I made an amateur mistake that cost a bunch of time (took a wrong turn onto westside and went around the summit of washington before turning around to summit up the crawford path). Ended up doing the northern presi and bailing down ammonoosuc where we had staged a car. Madison, Adams, Jefferson and Washington was still an awesome day though.
