Discuss nudism. Is it something you grew up with, or found later in life? Have you ever considered giving it a try? I wanted to try making a thread on a blue board in the hopes that there could be a serious discussion instead of the degenerate gooning the occasional nudism thread devoles into on /b/.

I went to a nude beach in Miami and everyone there was disgusting. one old guy was straight up masturbating under a towel. Ended up sunbathing on the patio of my hotel room with towels on the fence.Another time i housesat for a friend with a fenced in pool and spent the week naked or in a robe. Great time 10/10I like feeling the sun everywhere and jumping in/out of the pool without dealing with wet clothes but the resorts/beaches seem full of boomer sexpests which is a shame.

It's not that exciting, honestly. Best places are the ones that take exclusion of perverts and weirdos seriously.Once you're there for a few hours you're pretty much over it. I'm not really sure what brings people to stay at these places summer after summer year after year. It's worth going to experience.

naturism is deeply important to me. i happen to live in close travelling distance to three nude beaches (although really any beach could be nude if its isolated enough). i swim there naked all year long, it is revitalizing to feel the suns rays on my bare skin and to touch the earth and the water directly. travelling nude through the forest is also a great joy

As mentioned above you get used to it pretty fast and it has a calming effect. Women enjoy it a lot

Projection. You're the 1st one to mention it under the guise of criticizing le degenerates but the only one so far on the thread is you. Shrill prudishness is usually overcompensation

I've always hated being nude and seeing other people in the same state. I'm otherwise quite relaxed but a colossal prude.

I went down to the beach with my gf last night because it was 25 degrees at midnight and since we had the entire beach to ourselves we decided to strip off completely. Obviously it was partly sexual and we did fuck while we were down there but there was also an entirely non-sexual pleasure to swimming in the moonlight with no fabric between my body and the waves. I didn't realise I'd enjoy it so much. It's odd, I've had sex in public a lot (one of my exes had a thing for fucking near waterfalls) but I've never just enjoyed the non-gooner aspect of it the way I did last night.

I like it enough, but haven't gone to any nude beaches. I might just be a bit wary of being naked around strangers, even if my reservations are fading as I grow older. I visited a friend who has a very remote cabin, and we had just finished casting the foundation for a sauna building kit she had bought. It was summer, hard and hot work, so we were positively drenched in sweat. We just took our clothes off and left them to soak in a stream before we walked, mother naked, the two hundred metres down to the sea for a swim. Almost odd, the difference it makes to be naked, compared to wearing a pair of swim shorts, or just boxers. It felt so much more natural. Grounded, in a sense. Once we had cooled down, I went back to the cabin to get some beers, towels and sandals, and we just sat on the beach, letting the sun and gentle breeze dry us while drinking lukewarm beer in amicable silence. Will absolutely look for more chances to be naked in nature, lovely experience. I would like to feel a warm summer rain on my body, or laying down in fresh snow.

The PCT has naked hiking day but I've never done it. When you're up on jagged granite and snow, it doesn't seem worth it to be nude.

it's cool for beaches etc, but for hiking/general outdoors i think it's beyond stupid. there's a reason our ancestors immediately invented fucking clothes as soon as we stopped being hairy hominids you know

I like to do it when there is no one around but I have such a terminal case of grower not shower that i would never do it in front of anyone.

It's always appealed to me in concept, even as a kid I was always trying to take my swimsuit off etc. The reality that nude beaches and similar places are mostly full of creepy old gay men has always stopped me from doing it though, as does the possibility of people lumping me in with them if I go solo. I wish I could find a GF who was into it so we could do it as a couple.

Anon02/15/26, 03:50No.2861245
But why? I never walk around naked at home. Boxers always on unless I’m showering. I’ve stripped and returned to monkee for bathhouses in Southeast Asia because that’s the thing to do, but swim trunks at a beach are pp armor. You want some fish to come nibble on your dick when you go for a swim?

swimming naked is kind of nice i wish it was allowed in more places. there is a hot spring near me that is supposedly clothing optional but not sure i would want to test that with other people around

this quote pretty well sums up the joys of being butt naked in the wild: >The practice of communal nudity is an essential characteristic of naturism, making, as it does, the maximum use of the natural agents of sun, air, and water. It restores one's physical and mental balance through being able to relax in natural surroundings, by exercise and respect for the basic principles of hygiene and diet. It encourages many activities that develop one's creativity. Complete nudity is the most suitable clothing for getting back to nature, and is certainly the most visible aspect of naturism, even if it is not the only one. It exerts a steadying and balancing influence on human beings, freeing them from the stresses caused by the taboos and provocations of today's society and shows the way to a more simple, healthy and human way of life.

I'm not opposed to some fresh air on the ole' gooch, but the designated nude places near me fall into 2 categories: >private "family" facilities which seem creepy and culty >"male only" groups which are either overt or thinly-veiled gay sex clubs (Some of the second claim to be "open to everyone" but if you've ever spent time around fags you know that any straight guy who shows up and isn't immediately grossed out will eventually get roofied & raped.)We don't have any "normal" public nude beaches but honestly I wouldn't trust them either. Presumably you have the advantage of keeping distance from people and remaining strangers, but in 2026 all the perverts are probably taking videos and I don't need to appear nude on the internet (again).

It's almost exclusively old and ugly people that dominate nudism. Why would you want to join in on that?

used to go to a nude beach on sauvie island near portland OR. at the time my wife and I were in our mid to late twenties. the crowd was chill. people would back up their cruisers and anchor near the shore, drink and bbq. Good age mix. Even some kids. Recently i went back and brought my own kids, 3 and 6. They were like "you DON'T have to wear clothes??? Why aren't ALL beaches like this!?" We had a nice time, played in the sand. A lot of people play bocce ball. The only problem I noticed is that, seeing my own wife nude in public was a turn on and I kept getting erections. we probably should have fucked beforehand but we didn't and my balls were full. But overall, if you're the type of person to go nude at a beach, you're probably pretty chill. It takes a certain level of acceptance of yourself to do it, and if you gather a whole bunch of people like that in one place, it has this mystical paradise-like feeling to it, almost like a glimpse of the afterlife.

The way I see it, seeing those people in swimsuits is bad enough that seeing them without the swimsuit hardly makes a difference.

Got a few way out spots I can hike nude at and do fairly often when I can. company would be cool but most dudes into this are degenerate fags and make it sexual I’ve nude hiked and skinny dipped with a few women but it’s hard enough finding /out/ chicks let alone ones that want to walk around with sweaty tits cooch and asscheeks in the Texas sun. I’ve had a few over the years that will and will skinny dip with me too wish Americans weren’t such prude fags about nudity

I went to a nude beach in SoCal a couple few times. I think I’ve heard it’s a gay thing, but it’s also right next to a university so maybe it’s not like a “gay space” but you just get a lot of homos on account of they can walk around with their junk hanging out even if there isn’t a parade going on? Anyway, I wouldn’t know if the college kids even use it ‘cause I’ve only ever been on “””cold””” days. So it’s like 65 and overcast, but it seems to do a pretty good job of clearing the place out. It’s nice to be pretty much alone and be able to just strip and jump in the water. It feels like a lot less of an ordeal when you don’t have to bring special clothes with you. You can just up and decide on a whim to go swimming in the ocean today, you don’t have to make a big plan out of it. I know that’s silly cause how big a deal is it really to put on trunks, but still. Even took a few beers one time so I could hang out for a bit. Only ever seen a few fat old people, but I’m fat and old too, so whatever. Certainly not gonna see the beauty of the human body on display, but that’s not what I went there for. It’s cool. I like being naked, idk. It’s like I don’t have to wear all these clothes to hide who I am. It’s kinda nice to just let it all hang out sometimes, shed some stress. Never been a social thing for me though. I mean maybe it would be cool, but I don’t live close enough to go there all the time and meet anyone and I never had that type of family, so idk, but it doesn’t really bother me on that level. I’m not like morally outraged by it.I will say though, that I’m not just cool with people walking around naked everywhere. I lived in PA I couldn’t even wear shorts without getting bit up. And let’s say you got your nudist utopia and everyone in naked all the time. You want to sit your bare ass on that splintery wood bench? Not to mention like half the population doesn’t know how to wipe.

Spending the heatwave at a naturist camp. It's incredible how much more enjoyable the temperatures here are compared to urban areas.

Nudism is different from naturalism, in that when it's cold you naturally put some clothes on. Naturally men don't want their balls slapping against their legs.Nudity is fine, but nudism, like any -ism, brings out the worst in the best people

Theres a nudist beach about 150km from where i live and i like being naked in my bathroom doing nothing, so i would give it a try, only if the sun didnt crisp me and mosquitoes didnt carry me away, the amount of sunscreen and/or bug repelent isnt worth it.

Anon07/05/26, 11:40No.2873826
i think it's retarded, and i think it is more natural to wear clothes. the reason we wear clothes is the same reason why furries exist, which is that we don't have fur, and we wish we did. nudism only makes sense if you're a vantablack nigger living in a 120 degree sweltering saharan shithole.

I've been fantasizing about it since I'm a kid and I'm almost 40. I finally did it for the first time today. Went to a small lake known as a skinny dipping spot and ended up doing most of the hike naked as well as the swim once I realized there was nobody around. It was nice but not a revelation or some kind of spiritual experience. Just felt normal and comfortable. Given similarly nice weather and a situation where I know I can get away with it I'd do it every time. Not sure how I'll do if I'm ever around other people (other than a GF/wife I was used to being naked around) for it though, naked or not. There's a popular hot spring not that far away and maybe I'll go try that out but I'm worried that I'll get there and nobody else will be nude.

Tomorrow is skinny dip day. Anybody doing anything for it?I'm bummed because nothing seems to be going on in my town, despite public nudity being totally legal here and there being a lot of people who'd participate. Somebody even made a thread on our local reddit a few weeks ago but nothing came out of it, just jokes. I bet there will be groups doing stuff too, they just aren't publicizing it.

There's a creepy vibe in nudists, in this thread even.If you want to go nude, go on the beach nude for all i care. But fantasizing about it, wanting to be in nude camps with other nude people, scanning the background of people allowed in your camp, then putting towells on seat otherwise they will have ass marks, having a little combini with people chosing their apples with their balls on the fruits... the whole shit is creepy. No wonder this shit is only for boomers and sex pests.OK >casual beach nudity, onsens/baths/sauna, swimming pool areasWEIRD >nudist camps, Karen nudism, entitled to have their nudist space banning everyone elseCREEPY >nude hicking, swinger nudism, gay nudism

I've been nude in bathhouses in Japan before. It took me only a few minutes to get over the "awkwardness". I've never done it on a beach though. I think I'd find it weird with people I know, but with strangers I don't see me having any issues.

I laze around my room nude all the time and when roommates left for a week on a trip clothes only went on for work going farther like going to a nude beach being a girl, I'm kinda worried about beach creeps and going on my own seems risky because of that.

I grew up with hippy nudist parents. We went nude beaches and nudist resorts all the time and even went on one of those nude boat cruises with them when I was around 10. They were always naked around the house. Once I became a teenager they didn't make me participate if I didn't want to, but since I was around 16 or so I started sleeping naked and have ever since. When I was in in college, I lived somewhat close to a nude beach and went all the time. After college I joined AANR and a local nudist resort that I've regularly frequented for like 15 years now. I've been to a dozen or more nude beaches and resorts in my life at this point, I'm a member of a Korean spa that has required nudity and I hardly ever wear clothes around the house unless I have company over that isn't used to it.I guess that's a long way to say, yes I'm a nudist. Ask me anything.
