I recently got my bachelor's in history from my local university, honestly even though I'm qualified for office jobs and stuff, I'd rather have a farm in Tennessee and grow weed and shrooms and opium and DMT (if the climate of Tennessee allows to grow DMT containing compounds), and raise chicken and sell eggs and sell fruits and vegetables, and power my farm home with renewable energy like solar panels.

Seems like you spent your parents money on a worthless major. Luckily the farm bureau doesn't give a shit and will give you a farm loan anyway. See if your alma matter will let you take an ag class on how to get farmer gibs. Or just watch YouTube videos.

everyone i know with solar hatea it, never enough electricity, always running a generator and the panels and batteries last 5yrs if you are lucky
all in all, unless you were raised on a farm you are ngmi so you should just save your money. ive seen people waste hundreds of thousands larping as a farmer before the give up because isnt just like their heckin favorite youtube videos

You want a reasonably simple and lucrative cash crop like cut flowers.
Subsistence farming to grow 100% of your food is a trap for morons. Farming in general is brutal, 7 days a week of 12-16 hour manual labor days with no sick days and no vacations.
You might think you're hard enough, but most people aren't.

allright, you need some proper cashcrops and you can make it work.
dont know about your weed market, but chances are its pretty saturated. hard to make enough for a living or even sell your harvest at all.
dont do opium and large scale shrooms if those are still illegal there. not worth the risk. if they bust you, youll probably lose everything.
DMT should be fine if you dont sell to idiots. phalaris aquatica/arundacea is a winterhardy grass that produces good quantities. you NEED a vegetative clone of a variety selected for potency. then its basically limitless spice. theres also varieties that produce 5meo.
with shrooms, just go for stuff like shitake, lions mane, oysters, maitake, reishi etc. good prices and gets going fast. get the largest all amerian pressure cooker you can find and make tons of spawn. inoculate logs and bags. this alone can finance you.
you can grow real wasabi in a polytunnel. needs shadecloth in summer and protection from hard frost in winter. does NOT need running water. just very well draining and high humidity.
you can grow truffels now. theres nurseries selling trees that have been inoculated with truffel mycelium you plant those and take care of it and the mushroom grows with the tree. ot takes 7-10 years for the first truffels to form, but at that point the work is basically only harvest and sale. this can be a comfy retirement if you plant enough.
grow veggies, fruit, chickens, fish and whatever other animals you like for your own food. buy stuff like flour, oil, rice, sugar etc.
