Idk why this comes up so much. Life is not a computer game. You will either fail or die.
The world is not the same anymore as it was before man became sedentary. The world is now inhabited by 8 billion people. Entire ecosystems were changed to serve those 8 billion people that make up 'society' and they will not choose to suffer only you can put your retarded ideas into action.
Further more you have evolved to depend on a small set of technologies, like clothing, weapons and tools.
This was also ever only possible in select regions that offered favourable conditions. The further man strayed the more man became dependent on more technology.
Survivability was low back then, even for people who grew up like that, had a group and the required knowledge. Life still was hard, even if you were one of those who survived.
And that was when the conditions 'allowed' for this, small groupd of humans went unimpeded and did whatever they needed to survive on vast territories required for their survival. With the current population density you'll be competing for everything with many other people and none of them will respect your selfish and retarded decission and make concessions like that.
Lastly define 'artificial'.

Cavemen have hunted for at least 100 000 years when fauna was abundant.Now there isn't much to eat unless you live in the Amazon or Siberia. You have to depend on the agrarian society to a certain extent because even if you want to grow your own crops you still need to own the landTbh I wouldn't want to be an amazonian hunter gatherer, it probably sucks overall compared to modern comfort. Watch Apocalypto to get a glimpse of it
