I'm trying to get back into bikes for the first time in years, the Kawasaki KLE500 looks fun. Gonna wait a few months and see what mechanical issues pop up and wait until longer term reviews come out but it looks solid for my needs.

my mom used to be super rich and when I got old enough to get my driver license
she use her connection so I didnt even have to take the test, I just walk into DMV take a picture and walk out with my full license
I asked her for bike license too to but she wont let me
she would buy me a BMW 3 series instead just so I woulnt ride a bike
it wasnt until she went in jail couple of years ago that I finally bought my own 125 scooter, and now 300cc maxi (and looking to upgrade to 700cc tourer)
so yeah either move out of your parents house or wait for them to die or go away like me
especially if you are buying it with their money

One Jikov in place, fuckers don't have a long cable elbow like the Russian Pekar carbs do so the cable keeps slipping out of the slide constantly due to too much slack.
Put an inch of brake line between the cable cover and adjustment screw as a permanent makeshift repair.
There's loads of 45 degree and such throttle cable elbows, but the fucking Czech had to be different.
Everyone uses M6x0.75 fine pitch threads for adjustment screws, the germoids, the japs, the chinks, but not the Czech, they use 1mm thread pitch so absolutely nothing can be used here.

Now that gas prices are skyrocketing I'm thinking about buying a second bike... I was thinking about a xsr 125, I already had a 125cc a lot of time ago and it was fine for daily driving. But, I'm also considering an hybrid ninja, the MPGs seems to be very good for how "fast" is it. Almost 125cc tier, but I'm not sold on hybrid technology. Which one should I buy? I currently have a k5 600cc gixxer as my only vehicle.

If my brake lever goes spongey from a couple days of sitting does that mean I have a leak in my system drawing air in?
I did the zip tie trick (compress the lever, zip tie it engaged, leave it overnight and remove it in the morning for perfect brakes) and it fixed my problem but it happened again so now I suspect maybe a tired bleeder valve just drawing air from the threads? Maybe tired crush washers?Can't stand spongey brakes.

i keep fucking stalling the bike and it's ridiculous. today i stopped behind some guy who was turning and i literally stalled it twice with a line of people behind me. if i go REALLY slow with letting out the clutch it's fine but i feel like a retard "pulling away" that slowly.
do you just figure it out? you keep doing it and eventually you just don't stall any more?
