Having a dedicated set of winter tires is only ok if you genuinely live up north. Places like Bufallo NY or the entire state of Michigan, where they're subject to Lake Effect Snow. Further north where it's the frozen tundra of Canada you're better off with chains.>$800 for 4 tires, minimum
This is a thing with AWD, regardless of tire prices, so I dunno why you added it to the list.
>oh and $$$$ for wheels to put those tires on; or pay tire shop to swap tires onto existing wheels
Ok?
>need to find a place to store unused tires
Are you homeless?
>spring happens
Understatement of the century
>time to swap tires again
Yes?Anywhere else you're fine with All Seasons + not driving like a retard who fails to realize there's slippery conditions then wonders why he's sliding past the stoplight. If anything the not driving like a retard is more important, if I had a dollar for every subarufag who drives like normal only to wipe out on a turn or slide for a bit cause AWD will save them I would have enough for a new phone.
