real answersince i live in europe and we experience a mass chink offensive: they are bad, as bad as our local carsthey have glitches in software, missing trim pieces, problem with gaps in body panels, just like new euro carsyes, you wait 2 months for a part in case of crash, but some local manufacturers also have problems with backup parts and we wait 3 months for a skoda bumperthe interior design feels nicebut chinks lie about price. They say that car is $20,000 (example price) but you can't pay in cash, you have to take their loan for car. Loan is for 60 months. 59 months of payments sum up to about $25,000 - which is not great, not terrible.But final payment is $5,000. Then you realise the cars real price was $30,000 because dealer will not let you pay in cash up front.

My father bought himself Geely Cityray.
Geely is under Volvo so I hope this means quality.
So far it is really good and has a lot of electronics and sensors and he only paid it 26 000 €.
I hope car will be durable and will last for a long time.

Older BYDs are ugly as a sin but pretty cheap to mantain/repair (at least in my country) Their electric EVs are pretty nice tho and surprisingly big (at least the Dolphin Mini i test drived was really comfy). I'm 195 tall and i'm comfortable on the driver's seat, a lot more than on my current car (2012 Mazda5), i'm buying an used one this year, i hope.

EVs sure, they're good at it, there isn't much shit to go wrong in an EV regardless. So far only Renault has managed to fuck electronics up bad.
