I take care of my cars so it's not an issue. I resold my first car 8 years ago after owning it for 10 years, and the person I sold it to just traded it in to a local dealership.
Judging by the pictures and Carfax, it's basically unchanged aside from an extra 70k miles on the odo

i was so tired of opel then it was a breeze to get rid of it, even got the seller of the ford i bought to meet me at the junkyard, i drove the junker there and bought another car in their parking lot.
it was again junked in 3-4 years but that was my parents doing it i was in jail at that time.

Still on my first car after 16 years. It just works. It's old enough where repairs creep up, but it's never enough to justify another car. The repairs are easy, cheap, and don't take much time.At this point, I just treat the car as a means to learn how to fix cars and make my mistakes on it with little risk.

I was rear ended by a 3/4 ton truck in my focus. I felt horrible in loved putting e85 in that thing. My neck will never recover.

didn't junk it, sold it on. Cost me £500 (peugeot 106 xs), sold it on after a year for £500.
No issues on the MoT neither. I liked it.

I junked 4 of my first 5 cars (own #'s 14-18 rn).

The only one of the first 5 to make it out alive was my 90 CRX because it had a knock and I sold it to a beaner who spoke 0 english
