Is it cags where the display directs you to skipshift and literally locks out 2 and 3, or an actual mechanical problem? Either way it shouldn't do that, cags is only active during normal low throttle driving and the tr6060 is good to 8 grand input so there shouldn't be high speed lockout like on a shitpile mt82 or something. If it is cags, you can get a $15 pigtail on scamazon you plug in between the harness and cags solenoid that disables it without throwing a cel, or any tuner can turn it off too. If it's mechanical, then yeah further diagnosis is required, if you're lucky it's worn shifter bushings or something, otherwise it could be shift fork pads or even worse syncros, but if it's not grinding and crunchy when it does shift then syncros are doubtful (but not an impossibility).
