Chat what do we think. I can't think of a better car <$20k all around. Everything with the same age had 2x the miles.I went from fantasizing about GC8 STis after a $15,000 v5 Sedan in Tampa kept popping up on my FB, to realizing they're all open diff and a pain in the ass to insure (RHD) and looking at GDBs. Realized the white 2006 I wanted had 7 different POs and it was a "California car" that spent the last 15 years in the Midwest. This came up for sale, realized its half the miles and 10 years less than all the GDBs I was looking at. DMed him within 30 mins of it being posted and I'm gonna go Monday at 9am to check it out.Prime is a huge Subaru shop in the area, they bought the car from auction with a blown motor, put a 40k mile RA block in it and a ACT HDSS. Mechanically stock with the only mods being I can tell being Perrin Fender Shrouds, JDM Grill, Black Limited BBSs, Wheel Spacers, and *maybe* a Trunk Swap. Its a no sunroof car too, most of the carfax shows it going between Colorado, Montana, and Florida so it should be minty underneath.I'm crossing my fingers I don't have to do anything to it for the next year but drive it. I was originally fantasizing about GR Corollas and GT350s but I can't justify the $40-50k for one.Other cars considered: 5.0 S197 Mustangs (pricing weird, the $15k ones have 2x the miles and the lower miles one cost the same $20-25k as S550s). Mk7 Audi S3s (not as fun but ultimately good cars). Miatas (not as exciting, and I can't find a NC2 PRHT in the color I want; $16k gets you a high mileage ND1 though). Not a Corvette or Z guy despite those being 100% faster.https://www.instagram.com/p/DPFM7BCAV9o/
