i like muh boike I really can't think of a reason to upgrade it, maybe if I was a roadie I'd try carbon, but not now.I did a DIY carbon rear rack that I still need to attach a pack to, but otherwise I mostly ride as is.

I went from a 1986 Panasonic girl bike to a Surly Midnight Special. Insane how much quicker and more good this feels. Call me gay for buying the bike everyone glazes, but I tried a KHS something or another, a Trek Doman, and a Specialized Allez E5, and this mogs the fuck out of those. Ill still ride the Panasonic from time to time.

Why does my bike get more dirty than other bikes when I ride crushed limestone? It is because the big tires create more turbulence and this whips up the dust from the crushed rock? Roadies I see on the trail aren't as dirty. I think its because they are more areo and cut through the air and the shitbikes I see are clean too because they dont go fast. I basically min maxed "get dirty as fuck" with MTB tires on this bike.

First real street commuter daily or whatever you want to call it bike I've owned as an adult. It's been a great way explore the city and some rural trails. Ignore the nasty garage, I'm retarded and never clean it.
