the whole situation is hilarious, because the last time macklemore was ever in the news was because he dressed up as a jewish caricature like a decade ago and for whatever reason, sheeran wanted to have macklemore on his tour, but didn't expect any risk of this due to certain contemporary geopolitical conflicts? he already fucked himself by platforming macklemore in the first place. He should have known that macklemore wasn't going to shut up, and that this would cause conflict with the owners as nobody is going to give benefit of doubt to this guy. Furthermore, sheeran should have realized that the loudest voices in his fans were going to hate him if he indicated anything other than 100% support for current thing.
