Unironically the world would be much better if the British empire didn't decline. I think the main mistakes they made were:1. Give the founding fathers and American colonies just enough representation to keep them happy. You could easily keep almost all of north america 2. Be more careful about where you colonize. Almost all of their African and Middle Eastern colonies were huge money sinks. Focus only on South Africa and controling the Sueze Canal. Once these areas become white and English speaking, you can start setteling the surrounding areas.
