Watchable and probably the best adaptation of a series into movies, but the pacing is still weird and characterization suffers. Good as a refresher; the uninitiated could easily still be lost.

None are good, not even the third one.

The worst parts of it are cutting the duel in Texas with M'Quve and the treatment of Ryu's death, but it's entertaining enough even if the show is of course the real story. A few scenes are better, like how Bright actually reacts to discovering Sayla's identity, and having more music helps.

I like the Spike Spiegel Char in the dub. There, I said it

I always preferred the series, but the movies do a fine enough job of editing/enhancing the material that they're better for watching with my friends if we're doing a U.C. Marathon.

Most anime adaptation movies suck. They look good, but cut out tons of material and always have bad pacing.

They suck. Dezaki did much better in his Joe compilations.
