Probably has a big engine on a small machine, therefore big explosion

The fluid used in the artificial muscles is flammable.

They're made as cheap as possible, and since they're expendable, they went with highly flammable fuel for them. A well place shot with light them like a firecracker.

i think i remember an anon here talking about how they were designed for reconnaissance and fighting against infantry and not swarm tactics but since they were so numerous they just gave them to everyone

The lubricant that gives them those precise motions is also stupidly explosive

Canonically, their hydraulic muscle systems are filled with a highly reactive liquid that's under significant pressure.

Chirico isn't piloting them so they suffer catastrophic issues

honestly the fragility of AT's is why I've never been fond of them being included in SRW, it just shatters my suspension of disbelief that they'd represent any actual threat in a crossover context compared to almost any other series that's been included in SRW

Don't think about Size Scales in SRW too much.

what I want to know is why no one ever used the term "VOTOMS" after the first episode
Or was it the third episode? I forget

Was Mellowlink an abnormal survivor? He's unrelated to Wiseman but I also remember he survived or recovered from pretty ludicrous shit sometimes

Same reason why Soviet/Russian made equipment catastrophically explode by just looking at them

That's a lot easier to explain than why anyone bothers to use large ships in Gundam when they can be one-shot by any mobile suit with a beam weapon.

Given we have four VOTOMS threads, I opted to choose this one as it's the thread most broad in terms of VOTOMS subject matter. Now, for AT firearms, while most are chambered at 30 millimeters, how many would the guns in the middle and bottom carry? I can imagine the gun in the top would carry between a hundred and one hundred fifty rounds, but if you're using box magazines, how many 30mm rounds can be accommodated?
