Does pre-thinning paint actually affect them if they aren't used up within a few months? I've heard some modelers say the paint will get ruined if it sits too long so only pre-thin things you'll use a lot, such as white/black/primer/top coat/etc.

how do you loosen up joints on a kit that hasn't been moved in a couple months or years? the creaking is rather terrifying. I've heard it's from dust accumulating inside them and a little wash can fix it, would pressurized air work too?
