Thjis right here was the beef to the taco of my disgust with how WfM ended: Elnora getting off easy.

Sounds like something lesbians would like.

Was the writer trying to troll Tomino or something?

Genuinsly all they had to do was put her in prison like Shaddiq and that would have solved the problem. Just replace that ending scene with Suletta, Miorine, and Eri's data ghost visting her in prison.

That’s not what happened tho

She didn't. She put Eri in the Aerial to save her from dying of natural causes.

>starts a war
Also not her. She blew up the stash of Lfriths outside the city. Then everyone just started shooting each other rather than investigating.

She didn’t get Eri killed
She also didn’t start a war, technically by targeting SAL’s bunker of Ochs Earth tech she did prevent a much bloodier conflict that could’ve happened if those mass produced Lfriths got distributed
She pretty much sits around with her super cancer that seems to be disabling her body more and more, doesn’t seem very happy and her main goal of freeing Eri isn’t accomplished
She’s basically like Katejina ending wise

Yes rich people tend to get away with a slap on the wrist, especially company execs and such

I feel a lot of complaints about G-witch like OP are from people who either didn't watch it or watched it at x3 speed and didn't pay attention.

I wish they kept her this psychopathic terrifying right to the very end, but she softens up and loses so much focus in the last quarter of the show.

I think WfM was a great intro show for people to maybe get into Gundam, but a meh show for people who were already fans of the franchise.

I hate how you're not allowed to dislike WFM for obvious horseshit like this, you just instantly get labeled a yuri rager.

She didn't do any of those things, not even getting away with it. Most of the blame falls on Delling and he actually did get away with everything, just some public pressure.

the only thing you can really say op got right was her starting a war BUT that war was gonna start anyway, she just inserted herself into it to fulfill her keikaku and arguably caused it to be a less bloody conflict than it would have otherwise been

She didn't kill Eri.
Eri coincidentally got sick with the space flu right as soon as she showed her permet tolerance. Personally i think that a cowardly writing choice since it whitewashes the act of turning her into a weapon. It reminds me of how how they decide to pre-emptively "punish" Prospera by her saying "ah actually my legs are broken now" while still standing and walking normally normally.
She actually did kill several of her toddler "repli-child" clones into the children of the coven though (which is literally only ever brought up during El5n getting inside the gundam and that shitty exposition scene where they tell Suletta her own backstory) and anyone who argues otherwise is themselves guilty of not paying attention to the show.

I don't know why people latch onto her, her fate isn't exactly spotless, especially for someone who arguably wasn't the worst person in the setting morallyIf theres anyone to bitch about its the Peil people who ACTUALLY got away when they should be dead

She didn't do the experiments because she wanted to. If eri didn't activate lfrith they were going to die.

>First episode starts off strong with inter-corporate fuckery and intrigue
>Wife swears revenge as her friends and husband die all around her
>Her young daughter wipes out the attacking force because of the suit being alluded to being made just her her
>Episode ends with daughter's laughter showing visible fear on the officers of the attacking fleet
>Second episode turns the show into generic highschool crap
It was the most bait and switch type of shit I had ever seen.
