I saw no Sakura thread in the catalogue so here's one.
I'm currently finishing Sakura Wars 2. I'm right after the mission where you rescue the Hanagumi from being encased in crystals and Kyogoku summons the weird ass flying fortress Musashi..
So far I really enjoyed it. I picked Kanna again (and I think I got the file transfer right on Mednafen) and her loneliness left me shocked. I knew her backstory from Ouka Kenran, but I had no idea things would get so sad. I couldn't help but cry too when she was crying by her father's tomb. It was a good pick though, Kanna is very cute despite her being a tough tomboy. She gets bashful so easily~
Sadly I find her koubu specials in this game less cool than the ones for the first game, they couldn't animate a karate koubu quite right yet.
Most chapters were very fun and full of great pacing and escalation. Sadly though I found Orihime's to be rushed when Ogami forcefully drags her to talk to her father.
Orihime and Reni are great btw. The Eisenkelds looked really fancy and cool, too.
