Has anyone ever found any interviews with the Polymar OAV staff?
There's a longstanding rumor that there were to be 3 episodes but Tatsunoko went over budget, but apparently their own site denied that. It definitely has no ending compared to Casshan or Gatchaman.

This is the only classic Tatsunoko show that I watched but it was fun.
Polymar absolutely murdering the fuck out of guys in incredibly brutal ways only for the end of the episode to imply that they were arrested off-screen almost every time was always funny.
