Is this good? I've enjoyed a lot of sci-fi like the Expanse, Hyperion, Neuromancer etc but didn't particularly enjoy dune. And should I start this immediately or read Pandora's Star first?

It's okay. I think Hamilton peaked with the Night's Dawn trilogy but it's good fun especially if you enjoyed the earlier Commonwealth books.If you like Hamilton, you'll enjoy this. Just like all his other books - like one, probably like them all. I think this is the one he pokes a bit of fun at himself in, too ("Sweaty, middle aged, red faced science fiction authors writing about the delights of zero gee sex"). Kek.
