I don't know where else to post this so I will post it here. "I appreciate you" isn't grammatically correct and it is, dare I say, "fucking retarded" and "pleb nigger speak". 'Appreciate' is a transitive verb. You can say "I appreciate what you did for me" but not "I appreciate you". The only time you can use it as an intransitive verb is if it's under the auspices of something increasing in value, i.e. money, property etc. What we are seeing is two-fold: 3rd-gen Spanish speakers starting to influence US English by mixing Spanish and English to create mutt-slang, (i.e. "I appreciate you" = "you increase in standing" = "por favor" = "for favor") and retards accepting this as proper English. I'm sure there is an English composition PhD in the paragraphs above if someone could be bothered. I can't because I couldn't be arsed and I'm bloody drunk.
