Jonathan Harker's initial chapters were pretty good, but it gets boring after we switch to Mina's diary.
If not for the chapters about Renfield, I wouldn't be able to make it to the end
knowing how a vampire acts, its powers, and weaknesses probably doesn't help, since it ruins a bit of the suspense.
Also, why the fuck is every male character a simp for Mina/Lucy? These fuckers worship them more than anything

Dracula is a classic, loved it. Tried Carmilla right after, I found it incredible they're even compared. Carmilla is so much shallower, also despite its rep she's not even an actual dyke.
