"The Shadow of the Object" is a brilliant title, the premise not so much.
THE M. John Harrison is still writing!? First one that sounds good.
The Palm House is the most intriguing premise. I actually believe it could be good. Things We Never Say could also be intriguing, but I believe it isn't.

the only one of those that seemed appealing at all, which is to say didn't sound like a chore to read, was the body bag one, kinda gave me white noise vibes, and luckily it was the only one that had an amazon preview. too bad it had some shallow whiney anticorporate snark by like page three. not sure if it was just what the narrator believes or the author but either way i was like yeah whatever man.
