What’s the point of posting here if the end of the universe is inevitable and not even the Odyssey will be remembered by anyone well before the human species die?

Good news. That theory of the universe is completely wrong. Wholly shot out of the sky. Tesla was right, Hannes Alfven was right. The Electric Universe model is correct and the universe is more likely eternal. This was all deliberately obscured from us for political and economic reasons. The scientific ramifications open the door to a lot of technologies they wanted to keep for themselves.

What use does living life have if existence already was there before I was born and I missed most of it?That's bizarre right? That's how bizarre it is to worry about how things turn out long after you die as well.

It's about the journey, not the destination.

This has been standing for centuries. The premier work of man, perhaps, in the whole Western world. Chartres. A celebration to God’s glory and to the dignity of man. All that’s left, most artists seem to feel these days, is man. Naked. Poor forked radish. There aren’t any celebrations. Ours, the scientists keep telling us, is a universe which is disposable. You know, it might be just this one anonymous glory of all things, this rich stone forest, this epic chant, this gaiety, this grand, choiring shout of affirmation, which we choose when all our cities are dust, to stand intact, to mark where we have been, to testify to what we had it in us to accomplish. Our works in stone, in paint, in print, are spared, some of them for a few decades or a millennium or two, but everything must finally fall in war or wear away into the ultimate and universal ash. The triumphs and the frauds, the treasures and the fakes. A fact of life. We’re going to die. ‘Be of good heart,’ cry the dead artists out of the living past. Our songs will all be silenced — but what of it? Go on singing.

The Big Jew Theory remember that you are just nothing, just some random particles moving through the time-space, there is no God, your existence is meaningless, now go back to paying your taxes so that paedophiles can have some fun with kids on the island

>end of the universe is inevitable You don't really need to worry about that. The real doom us much more closer and immediate. You will die and then none of it will matter.

Roger Penrose actually argues a conformal cyclical cosmology is inevitable in a open universe model.

Who cares if the universe is ending. None of us will be alive by the time that happens. That is the equivalent of asking why do we eat and drink? Be in the moment and bask in it. It's not like tomorrow ever comes anyway.

Big fan of whatever about this thread makes the /x/-style nutcases come out. Big bang disproven by various crusty-ass outsider scientists, trust me, i heard it on a podcast. schizo posting about cathedrals and maybe gods plan? while we're at it why not blame the jews for modern physics?

What relevance does the fate of the material universe have to that? The realm of information is transcendent. All this world's insights and more are eternal. As beings with souls and consciousness, the end of rhe material universe (assuming this will occur) will only impact one aspect of our existence.Everything that makes humanity human (intellect, ethics, philosophy, art, love) lives on in the transcendent realm in unimaginably richer and more profound natures.

Every living being will experience the universe, and therefore the "end" is more like a mathematical limit than something that will ever actually arrive.
