A black great-grandfather makes him about 12.5% African at most, assuming no other African ancestors since then in that familial line, which I assume to be the case since that great-grandfather is the only one mentioned.
The word for this is actually an octoroon, interestingly enough, although it’s a bit old-fashioned and even offensive now. Or 1/8th black. Which is something, but not super black. He’s not really as apt to be up there with MLK Jr. or Frederick Douglass or whoever in Black History Month posters and history lectures at a socially progressive school district, but if they want to claim him to an extent, fine by me.Vid related would be a real black person, so imagine Pushkin as 1/8th of that and the other 7/8ths being whitoid. With that, I wouldn’t be surprised if the African ancestry gave some greater rhythm to his poetry, which pure whitoids don’t have much of. I’m Jewish by the way.
