I hate not being able to enjoy trans cinema (hell, even comics or YouTube videos) simply because of passing trans women. I just can't seem to get past their looks without regretting spending a good 5 bucks and quitting the movie not even 5 minutes in.
Like I just get jealous that they get to be pretty and I also get jealous that they get to star in a movie that may be remembered and talked about for years.
Like how do I get past the jealousy?
Because even if they play a character who really goes through it, I can't stop thinking that once the cameras stop rolling they simply go back to their normal lives...
