Is there a dumber tank class than light/scout/reconnaissance tanks?

Why didn't everyone think about using a dirt bike or something? Why the fuck did they use light tanks?

They're often airmobile and have generally better armament than a dirt bike does. Armored recon is the only on-the-ground recon that actually matters in 2026; and its best done with IFVs, which I shouldn't have to say are just light tanks with a troop compartment.

You are the advanced element of an armored division, they sure as fuck know you're coming. In a light tank they have to use their tank guns or ATGMs to light you up, any weaker OPs you mop up yourself.
