I know the general consensus is that Steiner is kinda stinky but I have the opportunity to buy a brand new civilian spec DBAL-A3 (model#9008) for $1000. I currently am not running night vision yet so the thought process is I might get this as an entry level laser which can be paired with entry level night vision at some point. Is this a decent deal to consider or should I pass, save the money, and just get a real setup later?

KAC CRS-3 in stock at silencershop. Should I? 16oz with built in locking mount and the muzzle device only weighs 2.2oz making it fairly light for a full sized duty can all things considered. The other can I was looking at was a rhodie 6k which comes out to be a similar weight if I use rearden mount and muzzle device.
