I use ballistol and if I'm feeling real fancy schmancy I still got a bottle of gun lube that came with the cleaning kit I bought 4 years ago

Beautiful. Also kroll (sp?), fluid film, and a new favorite because it's good for the wood and the metal: 50/50 varsol and tung oil.

I've always used Ballistol, but recently started using DRNCH from Zastava.Like it quite a bit so far. Doesn't gunk up like Ballistol does if you let it sit for a while after soaking.

Bought mine used for $900 last year its neat but I'd rather put the money towards a more modern optic tack another ~$500-$1000 on that because you WILL want a top dot eventually.

I always hear people talk about acogs as "ya they're cool/great whatever but dam, that price". I figured they must be over 2k, but they go for around 900-1000. Do most retards really just not know what good optics cost?

Anyone know where i can get a non-retardedly expensive quart of old LSA? I like using it for cleaning antiques and shit because it is so thick and viscous I know where it has been applied. I am running low. I can find the tiny squirt bottles but all the quarts are gone from milsurp stores. Is there a modern equivalent good enough? Not so concerned with the operationality of a firearm so much as preserving and cleaning potential. Still lowkey wanna get a gallon of ballistol for the meme.

You guys dont just get very good friction reduction, ypu also get ultra good rust protection, low storage evaporation and high heat tolerance. Whatever is writen on Mokas website isnt a troll :) but remember, Gold Guard is the real shit if you do designated rust protection below stocks and frames. It beats Eezoxs and others by miles

Recently had some excessively dirty Doubletap ammo lead the living fuck out of my bore. That shit looked like shooting a goddamn musket. >apply Hoppe's No. 9 to bore with rod/patch >let sit for 30 minutes >scrub with copper wool wrapped around copper bore brush Lead gone. Hoppe's is good shit. Apparently gets under the lead and dissolves the carbon binding the lead to the bore. Now my gun smells like banana oil.

Grandpa left me a few guns and a big box of his cleaning stuff and accessories. I use this on all my older guns. Outers still makes 445 gun oil, but it doesn't smell the same. I miss him and I need that sense memory.
