The greatest tragedy of dronefaggotry warfare is thirdie air forces are not gonna do fascinating ballsy shit anymore like arming civilian warplanes, sending armed trainers as warplanes, and having colourful crazy people like foreign mercs & societal elites fly them into insane combat missions where they rely on guts and insanity to see shit through or die.

Hate to see it.But the Iranians recently flew a mad lad airstrike on a US base in the middle east with an F-5 jinking in past our radar and air degenses at like 5 ft, so there's still glory to be had.

Sure they are. The targets that require a DJI with a grenade strapped to it and the targets that require a Jdam are not the same and have very little crossover. The lack of air power in Ukraine isn't due to muh drones, its due to both sides having relative parity in their air defence capabilities; which isn't really relevant to most thirdie countries who air defence is a handful of ZPUs. You're still going to see cheap ground attack aircraft for a long time yet.

An Iranian Yak-130 got blown up by an Israeli F-35.I dont think the IRAF would send a pilot in an unarmed jet right in the middle of contested airspace, unless someone high-up really hated the guy.
